Heavenly Chocolate Mousse

A fruit rich twist on a creamy classic, infusing dates and avocados into a rich dark chocolate mousse, including our organic coconut oil for added flavour. This magnificent mousse is perfect for when company is over, or even for savouring delicately on a quiet night in. 

Serves: 2


  • •    3 tablespoons of Organic Coconut Oil
  • •    2 small ripe avocados
  • •    8 dates
  • •    1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • •    3 tablespoons maple syrup or substitute
  • •    A Pinch of Sea Salt
  • •    Dark chocolate shavings (Use good dark cooking chocolate, min: 75% cocoa solids)
  • •    Melt the Coconut Oil in a microwave. 


•    Blend the Avocado and dates in a food processor until smooth. Blend all the remaining

ingredients until well combined. Taste and add more maple syrup and/or cacao powder if


•    Place in the fridge and chill for at least 30 minutes, or until you are ready to serve. Just before

enjoying, Sprinkle with the dark chocolate shavings.
